Why a Monroe contractor
Charlotte has plenty of painters. It is short of one contractor who finishes.
Search the term you just searched and you will find good painting companies, several of them twenty years old and well reviewed. What you will struggle to find is one company that paints the room and rebuilds the shower, on one contract, with nobody to hand the blame to.

The most common reason a Charlotte homeowner calls us is not price. It is that a kitchen job ran into a painting problem, or a painting job uncovered a carpentry problem, and the two companies involved each decided it was the other one's fault.
Because the same people do the demolition, the tile, the drywall, the trim and the paint, the sequence gets decided once by the people who have to live with it. That is the whole structural difference between this company and a painting-only company, and it is worth more on a remodel than on a repaint.

A large part of south Charlotte went up between the late 1980s and the mid 2000s, which puts a lot of houses squarely in the window where the original exterior finish is long past due and the original kitchen is dated rather than broken. Those two jobs — an exterior repaint and a cabinet refinish — are most of what we do inside the city line.

Two Charlotte-specific items are worth knowing before you book anyone. Neither is difficult; both are slow if they are started late.

We would rather publish four facts you can verify than a page of adjectives. Everything below links to the source that holds it.
Do you cover all of Charlotte, or only the south side?
All of it, and about fifty miles around it. This page is about the south side because that is where the crew is most weeks — Ballantyne, Providence, SouthPark, Cotswold, Pineville, Steele Creek. For Uptown, the north side and Lake Norman the work is the same; we will simply tell you honestly if a half-day job is not worth the drive for either of us.
Are you a painting company or a remodeling company?
Both, and that is the point of calling us rather than one of the Charlotte painting companies. Painting is where the company started in 2000 and it is still most of the work. The same crew also does the tile, drywall, trim, carpentry and full kitchen and bath remodels, so nothing is handed to a second contractor.
My HOA has to approve the exterior color. Does that slow you down?
Only if it is left to the last minute. If your neighborhood has an architectural review committee, exterior color changes generally need written approval before work starts, and the committee meets when it meets, not when the painter is free. Start that submission while we are still measuring and it will not touch your schedule.
Do you charge more because you are driving in from Monroe?
No, and we will not quietly build it into a square-foot rate either. Monroe to south Charlotte is a straight run up US-74. What we will do is tell you if a job is too small to be worth either of our time at that distance, which is a more useful answer than an inflated number.
Can you paint a house that is still occupied?
Yes — most of them are. We work room by room, move and cover the furniture, and put the room back the same day. Anything fragile or irreplaceable we will ask you to move yourself rather than take the risk with it.
Do you do commercial work in Charlotte?
Yes. Offices, store fronts, multi-tenant buildings and complexes, generally phased around the hours the building has to stay usable. That is on the residential and commercial painting page.
