How quickly will I hear back?
We aim to return every call and every form on the next working day. If you have not heard from us within two working days, call the number rather than waiting — that is a failure on our side and we would rather know about it.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The estimate is free, it happens in person, you get it in writing, and there is no obligation attached to it.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
Not an honest one. On an interior the number is decided by how much patching, sanding and priming the walls need; on an exterior it is decided by what the wash and the scrape turn up. Neither is visible in a photograph. What we can do on the phone is tell you whether it is a job we should be taking at all.
What should I have ready when I call?
The town, the rooms or the elevations, roughly when you want it done, and anything you already know is wrong — a leak, a soft board, a ceiling stain. None of it is required; it just makes the first call faster.
